Terms of Service

Your account

You sign in with your email address and a one-time code. Keep access to that email secure, because anyone who can read it can sign in as you. You’re responsible for what happens in your account. You must be at least 13, or the minimum age in your country if that’s higher.

What you can add

• Only add videos you have the right to use, or public videos for your own study.
• When you add a link, you’re responsible for following the rules of the platform it comes from.
• Don’t add anything illegal, sexual content involving minors, or content that harasses or invades someone’s privacy.
• Use breakdowns to learn and to make your own work. Don’t use ClipBrief to re-upload or pass off someone else’s video as yours.

Your content

You keep ownership of everything you add. You give us permission to store, process and analyze it, including through the service providers listed in our Privacy Policy, only to provide ClipBrief to you. That permission ends when you delete the content or your account.

AI results

Breakdowns and answers are generated by AI. They’re usually helpful but can be incomplete or wrong, for example a misheard word, a missed cut or a wrong font name. Check anything important before you rely on it.

Credits and plans

• Breaking down a video and asking questions use credits, as shown in the app. Your plan adds credits each month.
• If a breakdown fails, the credits it used are returned.
• Plans and credit packs are bought through the App Store or Google Play and follow their payment and refund rules. Subscriptions renew until you cancel them in your store account settings.
• We apply fair-use limits, such as daily caps, to keep the service working for everyone.
• Credits have no cash value and can’t be transferred.

Things you can’t do

• Break, overload or get around the limits of the service.
• Access it with bots or scripts, except through features we provide.
• Copy, resell or reverse engineer ClipBrief.
• Use it to break the law or anyone else’s rights.

Ending your account

You can delete your account in the app at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms, and we’ll tell you why unless the law or safety reasons prevent it.

Disclaimers and liability

ClipBrief is provided “as is”. We work to keep it available and accurate but can’t promise it will always be either. To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. If you’re a consumer, you keep any protections the law of your own country gives you.

Changes

We may update these terms. If a change matters, we’ll tell you in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use ClipBrief after that means you accept the new terms.
